In order to fund the activities of the Committee an annual Maintenance Fee is collected and the  2010 fee has been set at 50 Euro once again. This is exceptionally good value as fees in neighbouring estates are much higher at between 100 and 200 Euro. We are proud as a Residents' Association that membership in the scheme is so well subscribed to in Rathdown Park. The majority of the fee is spend on the regular cutting of the grass on the various greens and the tree planting programme. In order to maintain the level of service as previous years, please drop any uncollected fees to a committee member near you

This is the  website of  Rathdown Park Residents' Association in Greystones. It is intended as a method of keeping all the residents in touch with up to date news and to act as a noticeboard for what's happening in the local community.

Rathdown Park, located on the North side of Greystones Town has grown into a mature park with over 150 houses. The estate is nestled between Coolagad Hill to the west and the sea to the east.

The estate is a 15 minute walk from the railway station, via a pedestrian walkway through La Touche Park.

St Kevin's NS is across the Rathdown Road and is accessed by another walkway from the estate. The International Spanish School La Institución Educativa SEK -Dublin is just 2 km from the estate and many of the students stay in the Rathdown area.

The Picturesque Greystones harbour and marina is just a 10 minute walk from the estate.

We invite you to email the Committee with any concerns or comments pertaining to the management of the estate and we look forward to keeping you updated via our  website throughout 2010

From the estate you can see the Big Sugarloaf, Little Sugarloaf, Coolagad Hill and Bray Head.

The residents of the estate are rightfully proud of Rathdown Park and take a keen interest in it's upkeep.  The estate won the Best Local Estate in the Tidy Towns competition in 2006 and did well in the competition again in 2009.

A most appealing aspect to the community are the two very safe green areas located within the estate, both of which are overlooked by houses and therefore are  very safe places for children to play. There are no through roads in the estate making the volume of traffic quite low.

Rathdown Park has a varied collection of mature trees that provide seasonal foliage but more so in the Spring time when the Cherry Blossoms are in full bloom, and the petals fall like snow on the roads.

The Committee concentrate a lot of their efforts and energy on a continuous replanting programme ensuring all dead trees are replaced. Between tree maintenance and grass cutting we spend €5,000 per annum.

When driving from Bray, take the left turn at the Esso filling station. Driving into the estate you have a wonderful vista of the sea and harbour in front of you, with Bray Head to the left.
